Full Job Description
Assistant Manager to coordinate all duties of department or area. These include but are not limited to improving safety, improving quality, and maximizing the department’s effectiveness. Coordinates communication among and between Warehouse Operations and Production planning and operations. Assistant Warehouse Manager manages hourly employees in assigned area, provides appropriate training, development, ensures consistent roll out of plant policies & procedures.
Warehouse Management: 2 years (Required)
Assistant Warehouse Manager Position Responsibilities/Expectations:
Supervise day-to-day activities of assigned department
Provide guidance and training to hourly workforce to ensure picking, receiving and quality goals are met
Meet picking and receiving schedules as well as inventory control and accuracy
Maintain positive employee relations, open communications while resolving employee discipline or performance issues.
Maintain professional relationships with other departments within operation and corporate office
Secure the facilities when leaving for the day when closing building. Doors are closed and locked.
Ensure the facility is clean and all safety programs are being followed
