JOB TITLE: LAUNDRY AIDE DEPARTMENT: Environmental Services REPORTS TO: Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUMMARY OF PURPOSE AND GOALS: The Laundry Aide is responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding a wide variety and large volume of cloth products used at Bayview Retirement Community (BRC). S/he performs these duties in a timely, efficient and safe manner being careful to minimize the risk of infections being transmitted through any aspect of the laundry process.
