Auburndale section of Newton, a private, parent-governed, non-profit afterschool searching for part-time afterschool teachers for the 2021-22 school year (THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC SCHOOL POSITION) Approx. 15-21 hours per week depending on schedule. Begin date, October 11. Typical afterschool teacher schedule: M, T, TH, F 2:20-5:50pm, WED 11:50 -5:50pm. Additionally, four early release TUES., and two early release THUR (11:50am-5:50pm), and monthly staff meetings. Schedule may be adjusted (day/hours) for the right candidate. MUST have paid professional relevant experience teaching/leading school-age (K-5th grade) children in direct instruction such as group gym games, dance, theatre etc. In addition to general afterschool teacher duties, (general supervision, promoting positive interactions, attendance, etc.). Approx. $22-24.50/HR dependent on experience; health and other benefits may be available according to schedule. Send letter of interest and resume.
