Down To Earth Distributors, Inc is hiring! We are seeking a Maintenance Associate to join our team. Performs a variety of routine skilled maintenance for Down To Earth Distributors properties; Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Janitorial Duties, carpentry work, general repairs and building maintenance. Starting pay at $15.00/hour! Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Holiday pay Sick pay Vacation pay 401(k) with matching Profit share Generous Product Discounts Requirements Essential Functions of the Job: Operates a variety of maintenance tools and equipment; and performs related work as required. Performs a variety of routine maintenance for Down To Earth facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, vehicle and mechanical repairs. Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Performs routine maintenance and repairs for Down To Earth Fertilizer Production equipment and ventilation systems. Assembles, repairs, maintains, and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures. Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to supervisor. Fabrication of parts, pieces, fixtures as well entire working units. Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required. Performs custodial tasks. Assists with structural pest control measures. Performs related duties, as assigned. Work Schedule. M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. The normal work day is 8 hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch period and two 15-minute paid breaks. During busy periods, overtime is available, including weekends and evenings.
