Landscape Installation Foreman in Training Hoffman & McNamara Nursery and Landscape has immediate openings for Landscape Technicians. If you are looking for a great company to build a successful career with, then we are looking for you! • Primary Job Summary: The candidate selected for this position will safely and efficiently work towards managing the installation and maintenance of our landscape projects, including the work force to carry out tasks associated with installation and maintenance of our projects throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Responsible for coaching and training fellow team members on safe and efficient means and methods to complete tasks • Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 with health card) per hour with overtime after 40 hours. After an on-boarding period, benefits including Health Insurance, PTO, Holiday Pay, and Profit Sharing will be available. Prevailing wages will be paid accordingly. • Seasonal Work Period: 8 months per year (winters off from approximately November 25th through April 5th) depending on weather. Overtime during portions of season. • Required Qualifications: A valid driver’s license and health card. Previous landscape installation and leadership experience working in agriculture, horticulture, or similar field. Independent and self-motivated with the ability to work in cooperation alongside others to accomplish daily tasks and long-term goals. Ability to lift 60+ pounds regularly. • Preferred Qualifications: A commercial driver’s license. Experience operating tractors, skid steers, and small engines; Secondary education is not required, however is well reflected. Candidates bilingual in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.
