We are looking for a Full Time Dispatcher for a local Trucking Company. Experience in Customer service or Logistics would be helpful but not required. Long Haul Dispatchers act as a liaison providing communication with and between customers, drivers, and brokers. Responsibilities • Manage large amounts of incoming & outgoing calls • Book, Bid or Negotiate Rates for Trucking Lanes • Generate network of Customer & Broker relationships • Maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customer base through open and effective communication • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Skills • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening • Willingness to Learn • Excellent communication skills • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Dispatchers typical rate of pay is based on a weekly minimum while earning a commission on all loads booked.
