ABC Disposal is hiring a Route/Roll Off Driver – Class B CDL who will travel throughout the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Corridor. ABC Disposal is a focused on garbage services, recycling services, and temporary storage and container services. Job Duties: • Safely operate company equipment • Accurately complete dispatch list or assigned route • Appropriately document irregularities in routes • Complete required pre-and post-trip inspectors • Provide safety-oriented images to the general public and ABC customers Job Requirements: • Valid Class B CDL • Ability to drive manual transmission preferred • Air brake endorsement required • Garbage truck driving experience and mechanical aptitude are both preferred • Reliability and punctuality are imperative to this role; this is a long-term career opportunity Schedule Expectations: • ABC Disposal’s normal business hours of operation are Monday-Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
