The candidate will be trained on the commercial project management process, including reading blue prints & specs, ordering materials, job setup, customer service, in addition to the required communication and negotiation skills in the construction industry. Candidates can expect to train with the owner and other lead project managers to learn the roofing trade and grow into a new career. Projects include new construction and re-roof, consisting of all roof types, including flat and sheet metal. This role is a full time position, and includes bi annual wadge and performance evaluations, prevailing wage rates, and bonuses. Starting pay: Hourly $16- $20; depending on experience ____________________________________ Responsibilities will include (with training provided): • Analyze and comprehend project plans, specs, and details to assist Project Management team • Assist current PMs with procurement of materials, labor, and equipment, as needed • Prepare and follow-up on production tasks as needed by PM team • Manage internal processes including ordering material, daily project reports and communicating with customers. • Consult and communicate with estimators and clients involved at all levels of a project, as directed by PM ____________________________________ The ideal candidate would have: • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field - or similar years of experience. • Ability to multitask and prioritize per production needs • Expertise in the MS Office Suite and general computer programs • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills • Excellent written & verbal communication • Strong customer service and negotiation skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Bonuses • Prevailing wage rates • Bi annual wage and performance evaluation • Employee referral incentives Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • Construction: 1 year (Preferred) • Project management: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: • Spokane Area
