Project Manager {Salary Varies Based on Experience $20-$50k} Drewry Site Development is a growing Volusia County, Florida based company providing construction services specializing in Site Development: Grading, Excavation, Asphalt, Concrete, and Curb Services, Recycling: Concrete Crushing, Demolition, Roll-Off Dumpsters, Trucking, and Sales & Delivery of Materials. We are looking to expand our staff with a talented and motivated Project Manager. Drewry Site Development is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to fill the position of Project Manager. You will be responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager oversees the project from the beginning to end, including pre-construction budgeting, subcontractor bidding, scheduling, risk management, quality control, change management, project documentation, and compliance with contract documents. Must have applied project management experience in civil construction including clearing, earthwork, excavation, grading, base and subbase instillation, paving curbs, etc. ***Preferred Qualifications*** • 10+ Years of civil construction experience. • 5+ Years of project management experience – Must be knowledgeable in the excavating and site work industry. • Experience with Project Management, Agtek, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble Business Center. • Develop a clear understanding of the project specifications & components as it relates to the logistics of the earthwork quantities. • Desire and aptitude for learning about technology, software development, computer programming, and government contracting. • Read and interpret construction drawings. • Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and preform measurement baseline. • Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports: Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work, priority-based resource allocations, preform variances, and to support cost/schedule integration. • Manage or support the change management process by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, writing change orders, and other related activities. • Negotiate and/or support the process of negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders. • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changed to schedule and recommend work-around. • Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Project Owners. • Preform walk-through instructions and facilitate punch list completion and other close-out processes. • Basic Qualifications: • Review project specifications and plans to identify job-related costs and performance requirements. Anticipate problems and develop contingency plans. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities. • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to react quickly to complex issues. • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to take action confidently and decisively. • Team leader with excellent communication skills. • Lead and communicate with all team members, subcontractors, and vendors to help them maintain the project schedule. • Communicate any issues proactively and provide solutions.
