SHOP MANAGER Main Job Duties and Responsibilities • Manage warehouse items, inventory counts, secure the shop and the adjacent areas, to prevent potential theft • Sort the items placing them in the appropriate and safe locations, considering temperature, size, weight, available space, and exposure • Prepare the shipments and help with loading the outgoing items on trucks • Develop and maintain procedures for inventory management • Safeguard warehouse inventory by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and practices • Determine optimal warehouse layout and efficient space utilization • Monitor and maintain physical condition of the warehouse and equipment • Ensure all housekeeping duties are completed to maintain safe and orderly work areas • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local warehousing, and material handling • Ability to lift 50 lbs. – Ladders, Scaffolds and Paint containers • Clean Driving Record to drive company pickup truck and make deliveries Key Skills and Competencies • Bilingual (Spanish) • Must be able to work under pressure • Sense of urgency and adapt to changes in schedules • Can work with little or zero supervision Please do not call - submit your resume or come fill out application at the front desk.
