Description
This is a local dayboat position. Merchant Mariner credentials preferred but not required to start. Job requires the ability to lift and carry heavy lines, climb ladders and work from stages and floats. Job includes handling lines during vessel movements, chipping, scaling, priming and painting as well as maintaining a clean and orderly vessel inside and out. Applicant will also assist the engineering crew with maintenance and repair of vessel mechanical systems. Must be able to pass pre-employment as well as random drug screening. TWIC card is required. If you do not have a TWIC card, we will assist you in obtaining one. You must pass an FBI background check to be eligible for a TWIC. This is a full time job with benefits after 60 days.
