Shop Foreman Oversees manufacturing and ensures it is done to the design plan and CBD guidelines. Reports to Production Manager. Manufacture and assemble quality product for closet, garage, pantry, Murphy bed and office systems. Maintain and calibrate all equipment daily. Keep a clean workspace. Manage shops efficiency and precision. Job Specifications: 1. Manage Shop personnel to manufacture quality parts a. Manage Shop to run 6 – 9 day ahead of installation b. Work with Production Manager to meet per man hour efficiency 2. Measure and Quality Check Every Component leaving Shop 3. Manufacture Material a. Edgebanding – set with proper settings; confirm accuracy for each job b. Line Bore – set with proper settings; confirm accuracy for each job c. Lock Shelves d. Build Drawers e. Cut toe Kicks f. Cut Rods as needed g. Prep Deco, if any h. Collect Hardware/accessories as needed i. Bore necessary Doors j. Clean all materials/chips etc k. Dato material if necessary l. Hand Edgeband material as needed m. Notch material as needed n. Sort materials and place with job/ mark with green cone once job ready to go
