American Party Rentals seeks to add full-time delivery drivers to our team. Exercise your body and your brain while providing a first class product and service to great customers at classy venues. 40-hour work week includes Saturdays (plus overtime in busy season). Occasional night and Sunday work earns premium pay. Benefits include an excellent health insurance plan after 60 days, paid vacation/holidays, 401(k) with one-year tenure and more. Individual must possess an excellent driving record and be able to pass our background check and drug screening. Successful candidate must also be able to read, write and speak English. Previous box truck and delivery experience preferred but not mandatory. This physical position requires the individual to frequently lift up to 100 pounds. The driver must be able to load and unload vehicles, drive company vehicles to off-site venues, follow instructions from supervisors as well as on rental contracts. As part of the job, the driver will often serve as the company representative by communicating with customers on the correct use of equipment, obtaining customer signatures for delivery and making sure equipment is delivered to the correct location. Drivers are responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean at all times and in safe working order. This position will also assist with other duties such as cleaning and maintaining rental equipment as instructed by management. Starting pay for this full-time position will be commensurate with experience and work history. $14.00 -$16.50 per hour is a likely starting range.
