Description
Florida Event Decor is the premier special event company serving clients in Florida and throughout the U.S. We are a full service decor, design, and production company providing services for corporate events. We maintain a 20,000 square foot warehouse space containing rental props, lighting, furniture, and custom built items used in creating special events.
We are currently hiring Non-CDL drivers to help set up and break down items at events and also work in the warehouse.
This is not a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm job. Work times vary from mornings to late evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
· Load, unload, and drive trucks with accuracy and care
· Off-site set up and take down of decor items
· Maintain, organize, and repair inventory
· Work as a team to keep warehouse clean and organized
· Communicate effectively and positively with managers and clients
· Read, understand, and execute client contracts
· Problem solve issues relating to timing, location, and overall event set-up and strike
· Act as the team lead or team player by giving or taking direction when appropriate
Qualifications:
· 24 years of age or older, due to insurance regulations
· Driving 26’ box trucks
· Be able to reach, bend, lift, pull and push materials up to 80lbs
· Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of basic power tools.
· Clean driving record is required
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Must be well groomed at all times
· Detailed oriented
· Problem solver
· Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· High School diploma or related experience
· Team player
Job Type: Full time employment after a 90 day probation period
Salary: $16/hour
