About the Role: The Warehouse Associate will assist with the picking, palletizing, and shipping and receiving of orders as well as organization and maintenance of the warehouse. Position Responsibilities - Warehouse: Receiving, storing, and loading beer ensuring integrity for outbound shipments to distributors as well as transfers between brewery locations. Responsible for handling, storing, and preparing to ship all beer products without damage. Arranges warehouse and cold box in an organized fashion and keeps all warehouse areas clean at all times. Safely operate propane and electric forklifts and pallet jacks. Keeping multiple warehouses clean and organized at all times. Accurately completes and maintains all inventory records as assigned by Warehouse Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. Responsibilities and other duties may change at any time with or without notice. Essential Requirements: Ability to operate a forklift, or after training, to become proficient within 5 days of hire. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record. Knowledge of safe warehouse operations, safety policies, and procedures. Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP or similar ERP systems. Experience with warehouse management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized and accurate record keeping. The preferred candidate will have past experience in brewing, cellar, packaging, warehousing, or production environment. OT may be required on occasion. Availability to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly. Requires working in a non-temperature controlled environment, handling of hazardous materials, and exposure to complex machinery. Warehouse experience is desired.
