My family adopted Jax in Texas when he was just 6 weeks old. We normally performed pit bull rescues but Jax was too adorable to pass up.
Jax is chipped and fixed. I'm not sure if he needs one set of vaccinations but he's had nearly all of them. I have his vet records. He has grown up around lots of other dogs as well as cats. He's 4 yrs old. He's great with children. He is protective of the house and its occupants so when introducing him to new people just have them walk in, hand not extended and in seconds you'll see his smile and entire body wagging. He just wants to be sure this person is a welcome guest. He bristles from his neck to his tail and will alert you with a bark if he hears something.
You won't hear much more from him unless you scratch his favorite spots and then he's quite vocal but it is hilarious. He loves feet and he loves to crawl under legs.
I'm sad that my current situation is such that I am no longer in a position to have him. He's a member of our family and I'm heartbroken to have to give him up. He truly is the best dog we've ever had.
