Apply Here: The PT Landscape Technician enquires a high level of quality by performing landscape projects and knowledge of sustainable gardening, the Florida growing seasons for raised beds, and to maintain an exceptional and presentable Florida Learning Garden. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Supports a beautiful landscape environment by ensuring proper quality of care of plant life including all plant projects, fertilizing, hedging of shrubs, planting or raised beds and setting up all raised beds for each growing season. -Responsible for weeding, raised grow bed maintenance, seed-starting, planting, fertilizing, mulching, harvesting and assisting with special projects on-site. -Compile inventory and seed-starter list. -Operates manual and powered grounds keeping equipment while following all safety measures. -Performs grounds maintenance work including spraying for insects and weeds. -Ensures a high level of grounds protection/policing by collecting, loading and hauling trash and cuttings. -Supports additional needs for any light housekeeping. -Greenhouse knowledge including transplanting tree saplings. *Valid Driver's License Required.
