JJ's Pool Service & Repair is a respected small business local to Whittier & surrounding cities. We have made a name for ourself through our attention to detail and truly caring for our client's needs. Basic to experienced knowledge is preferred, however, we are happy to train the right applicant. Must have valid driver's license. Ability to work out of your own vehicle preferred. Company vehicle available to applicant with clean driving record. Routes run Monday-Friday. Saturday's vary. This job offers the ability to begin at 6:00AM and complete in early afternoon giving the ability for a second job or night school. Responsibilities & Duties: -Clean pools of all dirt and debris using specialized equipment including net, vacuum and brush -Empty skimmers, pump baskets -Check pool chemistry-- technicians must have/learn knowledge of appropriate use of chemicals, how pool chemistry is affected by application of correct treatments, weather conditions, etc. -Perform regular checks on all pool equipment including filters, gauges, pumps, heaters, etc. and assure all are maintained properly. -Must communicate any potential issues & repairs necessary -Must communicate and log after maintenance of daily route is complete -Follow all company procedures and protocol & policies -Responsible for truck inventory control -Maintain a professional appearance Requirements & Qualifications: -Prior pool service experience preferred -Clean driving record -Valid Driver's License -Able to lift 50+ lbs -Must have clarity of vision at varying distances to operate equipment and drive -Must be able to work with chemicals
