The vaccines mitigate the seriousness of the infection. If you have been vaccinated YOU WON’T DIE if you get a breakthrough infection, you will get sick but the degree of illness is less if you have been vaccinated. Very few vaccinated people get hospitalized. The new variants are more contagious, each new one more so. What ever happened to people that they no longer consider that there is a “common good” that is thwarted by selfishness from people not intelligent enough to understand THEY ARE NOT SMARTER THAN DOCTORS AND SCIENTISTS? When unintelligent beliefs and actions threaten the health of the nation then a mandate is necessary for those who won’t do the right thing out of patriotism or good common sense. The first vaccine mandate was issued by George Washington for the army to receive the smallpox vaccination. Good common sense is in short supply among the cult.
