During this outing, Kyle from Canon and Kate from Glazer's will share tips on photographing the variety of landscapes and flowers in the gardens, highlighting composition, use of color, and more. WHAT TO BRINGCamera + Lens, with memory card and fully charged battery Consider a wide-angle lens for landscapes or a macro for details. LIMITED LOANER GEARDuring this event, attendees will have the opportunity to try out the latest gear from Canon. This will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, as the quantity of available gear will be limited. If you want to try out a newer Canon camera, please bring a memory card of your own to use. ABOUT KYLE VALLAKyle’s love for image-making began over two decades ago while learning black and white film photography in high school. After graduating college with a fine arts degree with a concentration in photography, he began a wedding, portrait, and event photography business while simultaneously working in the region’s camera stores. After more than 13 years working in camera stores in Oregon and Washington, he joined Canon in 2019 as the northwest sales representative. Kyle loves teaching and sharing his passion for capturing memories and the gear used to create these images.
