Sign the final steel beam and attend the CSU Spur Hydro topping out ceremony. CSU Spur will celebrate being one step closer to opening to the public as a new free educational resource in Denver. The CSU Spur Hydro building topping out — the ceremony when the final steel beam is placed on the building structure — will take place at noon on Sept. 16. Attendees may watch via livestream or can register to attend the event in person and sign the beam prior to it being lifted into place. About Hydro at CSU Spur Hydro will be home to water exhibits, experiential education, Denver Water’s new Water Quality Lab, a flexible theater space, farm-to-table restaurant, and access to the South Platte River.
