Fun & free community event where early-stage entrepreneurs compete for cash prizes! Join us for an evening of inspiring ideas! EforAll Buffalo will be hosting at a pitch contest in person at the Innovation Center on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. We are encouraging people with a business or business idea to apply! Pre-selected participants will present their ideas in a 2.5 minute pitch to a panel of judges. The judges will award three cash prizes: $1,000 for the Grand Prize winner, $750 for Second Place, and $500 for Third Place. The audience will vote for Fan Favorite who will win $500! For aspiring entrepreneurs with an idea for a new business, product, non-profit, or service this is an amazing opportunity to receive feedback on their idea and possibly win a cash prize! It’s like Shark Tank, without the teeth! For audience members this is a great chance to catch the enthusiasm and energy of passionate people looking to create a business. Early-stage businesses are encouraged to apply!Application deadline is Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 5pm. We’re hosting a pitch contest workshop to go over details of the event and give some great tips on presenting your idea on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in person. Heads up! This workshop date is after pitch contest applications are due, so if you’re interested in pitching, ensure you’ve applied before the pitch contest deadline of Thursday, September 16, 2021.
