A five course meal and silent auction to support Rio Grande Community Farm. Dinner by The Sprouting Kitchen and cocktails by Still Spirits.
The dinner is located at the community garden, by Alvarado Elementary School.
Autumn evenings are idyllic in the Middle Rio Grande Valley and our community garden, located in the Los Poblanos Open Space provides a spectacular view of the Sandia’s at sunset. We will gather at the community garden, in the Los Poblanos Open space for a 5 course supper and silent auction fundraiser benefiting Rio Grande Community Farm. Fallon Bader of The Sprouting Kitchen is preparing a sumptuous, local-centric meal and Still Spirits will provide two craft cocktail options that pair with the dinner menu.
We will also have a number of exciting offers on display in our silent auction including items from Los Poblanos, NM United, Desert Compass Inn, and artworks by Susan Weeks, David Kappy, Jamie Welles, Seth Jacob, Jeanette Cook, and Hannah Heaton.
Hors d’oeuvres and drinks begin around 5:30 and guests will be encouraged to enjoy the garden, browse the offerings in the silent auction and begin bidding. At 6pm we will convene for dinner, enjoy 4 more courses and hear from the Rio Grande Community Farm Board Chair, Kat Labate Wright and Executive Director Jamie Welles. After dinner, guests will have more time to peruse the silent auction and bidding will close at 8:30.
Tickets will be $100/seat, all proceeds to benefit Rio Grande Community Farm. The cost of the ticket includes two drink tickets from Still Spirits.
*** We are currently monitoring the status and recommendations of our Governor and the CDC regarding COVID-19. This dinner will be 100% outdoors. We will ask guests to practice social distancing and bring their masks.
