Description

Dog is a 14 year old female cat who has only been at the shelter for a few days. She had spent her whole life with one family, who had to give her up because they were moving across the country and were unable to take her. Dog is very sweet and docile, but she is scared, confused, and sad. She responds to petting with loud purring after a few minutes, but so far she would prefer not to be picked up and held. She has not had much of an appetite, but with some encouragement will munch some good quality wet food. Dog appears to be healthy and has lived with dogs and children, and her favorite activity was listed as napping.
