Join Silicon Valley Bike Coalition on a group ride to Midpen’s Ravenswood Preserve!
The Bay Area is so fortunate to have such convenient access to stunning natural areas, but getting there can be stressful as we navigate busy highways and search for parking.
Leave those stressors behind as we pedal our way to one of our favorite local preserves! We’ll demonstrate a safe and efficient route to Midpen’s newest preserve, pedal along the beautiful wetlands, and have the opportunity to chat with a Midpen representative who’ll have information about their preserves and local wildlife.
Participants should anticipate a leisurely 15-18 mile ride beginning and ending at the Redwood City Caltrain station. We'll gather starting at 9:30, with a departure time of 10 AM sharp! Anticipate arriving back at the Caltrain station between 12:30 and 1 PM.
This ride will be on trails, bike lanes, and surface streets. It is appropriate for all bicycles and tricycles, including e-bikes. Expect a leisurely pace!
Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to creating a healthy community, environment, and economy through bicycling for people who live, work, or play in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, is committed to having 10% of trips made by bicycle by 2025.
