I'm looking for a home for my 2 guinea pigs, Pearl and Peanut. Pearl's about 2 years old and Peanut is almost 1. I've had them for a year and I'm really sad to see them go. Ideally they'd go to a home where I can still see them and maybe get pictures of them every once in a while. I'm having to let them go due to housing insecurity. I wish I could take them with me, but they're terrible for traveling/ living in my car and I want to give them the best life I can. I have a whole bale of Vermont orchard grass hay and tons of towels and fleece for them. Pearl is the most friendly and tolerant pig ever and Peanut is still sorta shy but she's ok once you have her in your hands. If you're interested in taking them email/ text me and let me know if you have any experience with pigs and any other pets. I'd like to know your housing situation as well. I really don't want them to have to be rehomed another time, ideally they'll be with someone who can take them forever or maybe until I am able to have them again, although I really can't say when that will be. Pearl was adopted off Craigslist and she took 6 months to really warm up to me I think. I want someone who knows they are living beings and deserve respect and lots of love, and they are not disposable or toys. I will ask a rehoming fee to ensure you are really serious and can provide well for them. I can consider lowering or waiving that after talking a lot and if everything lines up. I really love my pigs and it breaks my heart to have to say goodbye.
