Day of the Dead 3D Skull Art Workshop
Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a holiday that honors and celebrates the lives of our loved ones who have transitioned into the afterlife. Explore the rich culture and colorful traditions of Mexico through the skull painting and decoration workshop. We will also have mixed media available, flowers, gemstones,Glitter to glam your skull.
Ceramic Skull measures 7"x22" in diameter. A nice addition for your home in honor of Dia de los Muertos.
We encourage you to bring a photo of your loved one(s) who has passed and place it on our community ofrenda (offering) during the workshop.
Pan de muerto (sweet bread roll)will be served.

Janice Aponte is a fine artist based in the city of Chicago. She is a resident artist at workshop4200. Aponte's art pieces are a mix of expressionism and realism which translates into her own unique style, celebrating femininity and her cultural roots from the island of Puerto Rico.
