Hi, Folks, I would absolutely love to find a handful of accomplished singers to form a versatile, multi genre, all – girl band! I play keyboard/piano and sing. I have been at both for well over 30 years now. I am 41, but I'm not terribly picky about age… Over 21, Though, is a must. It would be great if most all of us could play instruments, so rhythm and lead guitars, bass, fiddle, drums/percussion, Etc. are a huge plus. And ability for vocal harmony and for singing either accompanied or a cappella is also going to be what makes us shine. My style is highly collaborative: I sure don't need or want to sing lead all the time because I love harmonizing, and I am hoping to work on both covers and originals, if any of us our song writers. The band that forms will be somewhat dependent on the members' various musical loves and styles of singing/playing. I grew up on country and folk, Though I am a classically trained vocalist, too. I have used my keyboard to play bass for an all girl classic rock and country cover band, I dearly love rocking out to everything from Joan Baez and the Wailin' Jennies to Brandi Carlile and Little Big Town. Other influences include Emmy Lou Harris, the Judds, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Melissa Etheridge, brandy Clark, and so many more. 4:20 – friendly, but everyone must be prompt, focused, fun, kind, and just generally awesome. 😄I am blind and do all my music by ear. Transportation is always a challenge for me, as you might imagine, but I think things will fall into place with the right mix of people. So, if this sounds like something you want to be involved in from the ground up, the sky is the limit, and I will make a living with music fulltime if I/we ever get the chance. I have always been much more excited at the prospect of making music with other people than by The drag of doing it all on my own. so, if that's you, too, give me a shout and let's talk!
