LAUNDRY ATTENDANT (EAST SIDE, PROVIDENCE) compensation:Min wage to start, $11.50/hr - Sign-On Bonus After Successful Completion of 3 Month Trial Period employment type: part-time Job description The Laundry Club is a family owned and operated Laundromat located on the East Side of Providence. We are looking for an organized, positive, friendly, courteous and energetic person to join our team as a part-full time Attendant! This position is for Nights and Weekends. Applicant MUST like working with the public, have a friendly attitude, be reliable, work well with others, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The job consists of waiting on customers, using a computer for processing WDF and dry-cleaning, doing wash, dry and fold laundry, assisting self-service customers answering questions, and keeping the laundromat clean. Retail experience a plus, however, we will train you if you have the desire to work and learn. Job Responsibilities · Provide superior customer service · Sort separating laundry by fabric, color, cleaning technique or dirt content for best results · Washing, drying and hanging items · Cleaning (wipe down machines, wash floors, vacuum, dust etc..) Job Skills & Qualifications Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand, walk and stretch for long periods Excellent organizational skills Ability to perform simple math calculations Verbal and written fluency in English Driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent preferred Night and weekend availability Authorized to work in the US Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $11.50 per hour Principals only.
