3 week class to learn the basics of oil painting! All materials Included! You will learn the basics of oil painting from idea to execution! You will leave with a beautiful landscape after 3 classes in 3 weeks, totaling 6 instruction hours, you are free to use the studio to paint on your own anytime during the 3 weeks outside of instruction hours. This class is good for beginners and advanced alike, everyone will come out with new knowledge. Grab a friend and come try something new! Please wear something you are willing to get messy in! Week One: Sept 22nd, 5pm - We will get to know our paint, brushes, and tools through working on color scales and technique. We will learn how to layer and build while we have fun getting to know the medium. Week Two: Sept 29th, 5pm - We will begin building the landscape. We will continue to learn new tips, tricks, and techniques as we explore your landscape. Week 3: Oct 6th, 5pm - It's time for finishing touches! Shadow and light will be our concentration the final week. You will leave with a completed painting you are proud of!
