Paddle No better way to see the fall leaf color change than off a kayak on the water! Fall is a great time to be on the river as it's less crowded and less buggy! Explore Mines of Spain state park by kayak then head out to the Mississippi River to Massey Marina. Dubuque County Conservation staff will be bringing kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices for everyone. No experience is necessary but you will be paddling on the Mississippi River. Supplies is limited and shuttle will be provided. Arrive at the Julian Dubuque river access. A pre-paddle email will be sent out before the float with more details. If needed we will try to reschedule but no refunds are given.
