Description
The Operations Clerk primary role is to assist management in all aspects of operations. The position has a wide range of duties ranging from shipping, receiving, verifying product, dispatching drivers, inventory, routing, and maintaining facilities in compliance with federal regulations.
• Create cost-efficient routes using company routing software to satisfy customer time windows and maintain compliance with DOT regulations.
• Print pick tickets, route lists, and invoices.
• Manage routing software system and dispatch drivers in accordance to SOP.
• Modify orders per request of sales team
• Record Operation Department’s absent/tardy in spreadsheet
• Communicate via email of items not in stock
• Send out via email Driver Delivery each day
• Managing a Daily Driver Log and update inspection each day
• Assist in complying with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
• Assist in safeguarding operations, facility, and product.
• Promote a safe culture.
• Assist in fleet management.
• Communicate with drivers & assist with routing opportunities.
• Assist with scheduling pickups.
• Manage operations reports and collect data on reports.
• Maintain office.
• Files & Folders need to be organized and easy to find.
Hours: Monday- Friday, Saturday when needed; 4am-12pm

Qualifications:
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Minimum 1 year of transportation experience
• Organization skills
• Written and oral communication skills
