Trade Your Running Shoes for Dancing Shoes! In place of the YMCA’s annual Heart of Summer Triathlon, trade your running shoes for dancing shoes and join us for a Heart of Summer PARTY! The YMCA is partnering with The Koinonia Foundation's We Adapt programs to throw this fun, summer dance party!! We’ll be dancing the night away with music and DJ’ing by Jacob Covell, food, a photo booth, special guest performances, and more. Come dressed as your favorite Disney character, superhero, or TV/movie/cartoon character. This event is free for our special needs community as we celebrate with past triathletes from the YMCA's Heart of Summer Triathlon and welcome new participants who may be interested in joining us for future triathlons. Hot dogs, drinks, and other snacks will be provided free of charge. The Heart of Summer Party will be held in the gymnasium at the West Side YMCA at 400 N. Winston Rd. Knoxville, TN 37909. Spaces are limited, so register today to reserve your spot. The Camp Koinonia Foundation is a Tennessee based charity founded in 2001 and a 501©3 nonprofit organization.
