Join New Hope Audubon Society & the Hub Farm to build a bird nest box! Family-friendly, kids welcome! All tools & materials provided. Come visit the Hub Farm and build a bird nest box to take home with you! Experts from New Hope Audubon Society will discuss birds in general, why we want to help birds, and ways we can help birds. Then we will assemble the nest boxes together. All materials and tools will be provided. https://www.newhopeaudubon.org/ This event will take place outdoors and masks will be required, regardless of vaccination status. The Hub Farm is a project within Durham Public Schools, spearheaded by Career-Technical Education and guided by a small staff and community advisory team. The Hub Farm engages Durham Public School students and teachers, and the greater Durham community in all aspects of the local food system,environmental stewardship and career development.
