Tantric Ritual, Tender Receptivity: A Full Moon in Pisces Workshop and Puja Tantra is a spiritual path of healing, transformation and evolution where the ultimate goal of enlightenment is as much an experience as the journey to attaining it. In the tantric lifestyle, there are many considerations, however, during this special September 20th tantric event at Atlanta’s MixDeity we will focus on two: astrological timing - specifically the full moon and the opportunity it offers us - and ritual - particularly tantric rituals and practices for deepening connections with others. You are cordially invited to this special evening of tantric learning, sharing and experiences which culminates in an energetically dynamic tantric puja - a moving ritual of adoration - which will begin at the rise of the full moon in the constellation of Pisces. We will learn about the meaning of the full moon in Pisces and experience the resonance between our own energies and those of the Pisces full moon in the practices and rituals that we engage in. In the workshop portion we will learn about and experience specific practices and rituals including: Transfiguration For remembering and sustaining a divine type of love Tantric bodywork For deepening romantic and platonic soul connections An exercise based on the principles of the traditional tantric Maithuna For igniting and discovering passion Various types of Puja rituals - for experiencing many different versions of love at once And more… We will take breaks as needed and vegan refreshments will be made available throughout. A vegan dinner will be served at the culmination of the event. An RSVP is strongly encouraged because of planning for the amount of food to offer. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing for the workshop portion and bring offerings of flowers, fresh and/or dried fruit, nuts, shells, crystals or other sacred objects for the puja altar. We will share and gift these to each other at the end. Women should bring a bright red dress/outfit to change into for the culminating puja. Men should bring a white top and bottoms to change into for the puja. As the ideal type of container for this kind of event is a closed one - where the participants we begin the event with are the same participants that the event ends with, please do consider attending the full event if your schedule permits. Tickets for the two portions of the event have been created for those whose schedules and responsibilities do not permit being present for the full amount of time but who want to participate in the spiritual offerings that they can commit to.
