Compensation: Competitive wage Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: ◼ Experienced in group fitness classes and programming ◼ Personal training is preferred, not required ◼ Must possess exceptional communication skills ◼ Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly ◼ Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail-oriented ◼ Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter ◼ Knowledge of the local market is a plus Responsibilities: ◼ Works closely with the General Manager to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to club members ◼ Provides fitness instruction to private students and group participants as demand dictates and as needed ◼ Greets guests upon arrival and departure to fitness center ◼ Distributes and controls locker keys and towels ◼ Signs in members and guests, advising them of rules and procedures of the fitness center ◼ Report safety concerns to supervisor ◼ Adjusts music and/or television equipment as needed ◼ Performs minor custodial duties to include wiping down machines, picking up discarded items, etc. Helps to keep fitness center neat and tidy ◼ Performs opening and closing duties at fitness center when required ◼ Responds to emergency situations, as dictated by facility policy ◼ Answers phones and guest inquiries ◼ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance ◼ Provides training and development to other instructors as directed and as needed ◼ Assists in the Supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized, and professional conditions exist throughout ◼ Assists in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent condition ◼ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Application Instructions: Please email all resumes to Bill Shiles at [email protected]
