Help us put the finishing touches on more lending libraries so more of our neighbors can explore their own love of reading! "Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs is good for him."-Maya Angelou Much of what we learn is through the power of story! Aarika started a lending program for our youth in the San Fernando Valley. She is committed to inspiring the youth in our community to become passionate about reading and learning about different perspectives. We are eager to announce our campaign is going to be installing 7 more lending libraries! Join us for painting them before they go to their new homes! Lending library painting will take place on Saturday, October 2nd from 10:00-11:30 AM at Dearborn Park.
