Learn to paint this Prickly Pear with alcohol inks. Focus will be on creating shadows and light in your painting for a dimensional effect. Join Korinne Carpino, globally known alcohol ink artist, instructor and contributor to the Alcohol Ink Art Society to learn to paint this Flowering Prickly Pear . You will concentrate on creating shadow and light for a dimensional effect. You will create this painting on 5"x7" grafix dura-bright opaque white film. A template will be supplied. Korinne will lead you step by step through creating this scene. At the end of the workshop, your painting will be placed in an acid free white mat and encased in an acrylic sleeve ready for presentation! Experience Level: Novice. Prior experience with alcohol ink helpful. Instructor will provide all supplies. Tuition: $47.00 Materials fee of $8.00 cash is payable to the instructor at the time of class. For everyone's safety, face masks are required. Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
