Homeless due to a house fire.
11lb, female (spayed), chihuahua/dachshund mix we think, named Fawn.
My father’s home burned down last month and has been displaced out of town. Due to those circumstances, he can no longer care for Fawn – originally adopted at an Arizona Humane Society event. He asked if I can please find a shelter or new home for her since he’s now gone. Unfortunately, Fawn and one of my pre-existing dogs do not get along and I cannot keep her in my home.
Not sure if she doesn't get along with all dogs, but probably safest if she's the only dog in the home. Very good with kids (mine are 3 & 5 and they love her) and other than barking when people are at the door she's mild mannered and well behaved. Potty trained and uses a doggy door, but also comfortable in a crate if needed.
