Description

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham's state-run coronavirus testing site will be closed for three days this week due to the Sept. 14 primary election. The city's testing site is located at St. Tarcisius Parish, which is also a voting location. The walk-up testing site will reopen on Thursday after election work wraps up. In the interim, the Framingham Public Health Department is offering free rapid tests to local residents. The Rapid BinaxNOW COVID-19 tests are available by appointment at the city's nursing clinic, which will be open from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday. To find another location offering coronavirus PCR tests, visit the state Department of Public Health COVID-19 website. Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated residents could take home the rapid tests.
