STRATFORD, CT — There will be two Democratic primaries in Stratford on Tuesday, Sept. 14 to decide who will be the candidates for Town Council in the 8th and 9th districts in November. Both Town Council seats are currently held by Republicans. In the 8th District, Richard Brown is challenging Dianne Nolan, who received the Democratic Town Committee's endorsement in July. In the 9th District, endorsed candidate Linda Chaffin is facing a challenge from former Democratic Registrar of Voters Rick Marcone. Click here for the Democratic Primary sample ballots.
