We are currently accepting applications for Shipyard Laborers, Fire watch and Brush & Roll painters in Seattle and Bremerton. Please contact our office at 360-842-8664 for work to start immediately with the right qualifications. Pay will be $19- $21/ hour, with an average of 60 hours a week. Fire Watch/Labor Job Description: Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment. Ability to use pneumatic power tools to accomplish cleaning. Be able to follow specific instructions and maintain safe environments. Shipyard experience ideal. Job Requirements: Be able to work for extended periods standing. Fire Watch experience is desired but not necessary - we will train Must be able to lift up to 50-65 lbs on your own. Be able to bend, crouch, and lift for extended periods of time Be able to work outside for extended periods of time. Attention to detail a must! Overtime hours required. Reliability is a must. OSHA 10, respirator fit test & Fire watch certified a plus but will train, if needed. Must be a US Citizen and pass a background screening. Brush and Roll Painters Job Description: Must have (6 months - 1 years) or more years’ experience as a marine brush and roll painter applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings. Experience is also required in accomplishing cleaning to SSPC-SP-3 and SSPC-SP-11 standards using power tools. Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment. Ability to use power tools to accomplish cleaning. This will be 40 hours+ during the normal Monday - Friday work week, including weekends. Some projects do have a night shift.
