HVAC Apprenticeship

Wage / Hours:
This position is a full-time, hourly, and non-exempt position. Our business hours are 7am-5pm. Our installer schedules vary based on workload. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year.

Requirements:
Skills:
Motivated self-starters who work well independently with great time management skills, communication skills and organizational skills.
An investigative spirit, good problem solving skills and a passion for helping others.
Provide leadership and coaching to assistant installers and apprentices
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment
Explaining problems clearly to the customer and giving them options
Inspections and maintenances of all types of HVAC equipment and their parts
Working with a variety of tools and taking readings
Changing parts, controls, and other electrical components
Installs furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other indoor air quality products
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.
Preferred Experience:
3 years or more of Lead Installer or Service Tech experience
Gas pipe installation (preferred)
License:
Specialty Electrical License (06B or higher) -Preferred
Certifications (preferred):
NATE Certification
CFC/EPA Refrigeration License (Type 2 or Universal)
Seattle Refrigeration License- Preferred
