Press release from the City of Irving: August 16, 2021 TxDOT has updated its closure schedule of the westbound main and express lanes of SH 183, from Regal Ridge Parkway to Maryland Drive that occurs Aug. 18-21. These closures are weather permitting and subject to change. Midnight to 5 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18 10 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18 to 5 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 19 10 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19 to 5 a.m., Friday, Aug. 20 Detour signs will be posted. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The work is part of the $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-2023.
