J-Lo, Ben Affleck Reportedly Renting Luxury Austin Condo

AUSTIN, TX — Bennifer is back in Texas, y'all. Well, at least for a short while. Both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have rented "a luxury condo" in Austin, where Affleck is slated to film the new Robert Rodriguez movie, according to TMZ. Affleck will be in Texas to shoot "Hypnotic", the latest film from Austin-based Rodriguez. Filming is scheduled to begin September 20 on the flick, TMZ reports. "The action thriller will follow a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program while investigating a string of high-end crimes,"Deadline reports. Last year, Solstice Studios told the Austin Chronicle that "Hypnotic" would create around 467 jobs, including roles for 292 Texas-based crew members and 96 Texan actors. Noting an insider source, TMZ says that Lopez won't be in town full time, but will make an occasional appearance. The couple reunited this spring after nearly two decades. This isn't the first time the two actors have been spotted in the Lone Star State. At one-time, they filmed blockbuster movies in Texas. Jennifer Lopez filmed her big-screen debut "Selena" in Corpus Christi and San Antonio in 1997. Affleck, who filmed "Pearl Harbor" in 2000, also filmed in Corpus Christi at the U.S.S.
