Police have arrested two former Spencer County officials after a 20-month investigation.
Indiana State Police say troopers and the Indiana State Board of Accounts were asked to investigate former Luce Township Trustee Sarah Frederick and Trustee's Clerk Angela Ward, starting in January 2020.
In a release, the ISP said the allegations include Theft, Obstruction of Justice, and Official Misconduct.
The Spencer County Circuit Court issued warrants for Frederick and Ward late last week.
The ISP says officers arrested Frederick on Friday and Ward on Saturday.
