SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A fatality was reported Monday in a crash east of Healdsburg on state Highway 128 . Shortly before 2 p.m., a red Jeep went off the roadway just west of La Franchi Road, the California Highway Patrol reported. SR-128 was blocked in both directions as emergency personnel responded. At least two people were trapped in the car, and one person died. Further details were not immediately known. Authorities reopened the roadway to through traffic around 4:45 p.m. Monday.
