EDINA, MN — More than $76,000 has been raised for the family of Iklas Abdullahi Ahmed, the 2-year-old girl who died after going missing in Edina's Rosland Park last week. A fundraiser page on GoFundMe was established to help Ahmed's family pay for funeral costs. Ahmed had been last seen at about 5 p.m. on Labor Day at the park, police said. Authorities said she may have wandered off from her family. Just after 1 p.m. Tuesday, members of the Hennepin County water rescue team found her body in the water near the park. "On behalf of the City, I want to send our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family and loved ones of this young girl," said Edina Police Chief Todd Milburn in a news release. "Our hearts go out to all those affected by this devastating tragedy." GoFundMe is a Patch promotional partner
