ELMHURST, IL – A man saying a woman owed him money went to her Elmhurst house and attacked her, police said. According to a police report, the man texted the woman Sunday saying she owed him money and that he was "coming to get it." About 6:15 p.m., he showed up at her house in the 400 block of May Street, police said. They argued, then he grabbed her and threw her to the ground, the report said. He fled. An officer saw a cut on the woman's palm, which was bleeding, police said. Officers could not find the man. Charges are pending.
