We are Atheists Helping the Homeless of Washington, DC. We believe we can make a difference in our community. We believe that people who are homeless are just like you and us, but having a hard time for many possible reasons. Our methods are straightforward. We provide toiletries for people who are living on the street out of a tent, in a car, or in a shelter. We distribute small items for people with no homes: nail clippers, toothbrushes and small tubes of toothpaste, small flashlights with batteries, socks, safety razors with shaving cream packets, and more.
